Windy Prairie at Black Wind Farms is a small, boutique breeder of Havanese dogs. Our Havanese puppies are raised on a genuine family farm with green grass, rolling hills, wide open space and lots of fresh air. We are located an hour south of downtown Kansas City in Drexel, Missouri on 200 acres of fields, trees and ponds.

The Havanese moms and dads of Windy Prairie are all registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) or American Pet Registry Inc. (APRI) and come from European bloodlines. We’re also home to AKC and APRI Champions!

Our puppies are raised in our home here on the farm. They are excellent with other dogs and animals and in social situations. Our five grandsons play with the puppies to help them adapt to life with small children. When they are not frolicking with the grandchildren, the puppies are given special attention and love every day.
